Húsavík Academic Center offers various types of advice. This is counseling for individuals, ie. study and career counseling and counseling for companies, institutions and NGOs.
Húsavík Academic Center has since 2006 participated in a project under the auspices of the Icelandic Business Education Center called Your choice - your way - Study and job counseling in the workplace. Individuals as well as companies can request to have a study and career counselor visit where the project is introduced and employees are then given the opportunity to interview a counselor. The advice is free of charge for both the individual and the company.
