No technical knowledge is required, only curiosity and a willingness to try.\u00a0People of all ages are very welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is the course about?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artificial intelligence is one of the most powerful tools available to the public, but many are hesitant to take the first step. In this course, we cover the basics in plain English, look at numerous practical examples, and give participants the opportunity to work on their own projects with guidance. The aim is simple: for you to leave with greater confidence and the tools to continue in your own way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On the course, you will learn, among other things:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">What artificial intelligence is \u2014 explained in &#x27;plain English&#x27;\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Practical examples from work and daily life: writing, organisation, saving time and solving tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Formulating good questions and critically evaluating the answers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">What to avoid \u2014 privacy, trust and responsible use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Ways to continue learning independently after the course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Friday 9 October<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>9 am\u201312 pm \u2014 Lecture:<\/strong>\u00a0How artificial intelligence can be used in a wide variety of tasks and jobs, with examples, questions and discussions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>13:00\u201316:00 \u2014 Workshop I:<\/strong>\u00a0Participants start working on their own project \u2014 one large one or several smaller ones \u2014 and receive assistance in developing an approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Saturday 10 October<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>9am\u201312pm \u2014 Workshop II:<\/strong>\u00a0Participants delve deeper into their projects, reviewing what worked well and how best to proceed. Summary and next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>It is advisable to bring a laptop and an idea for a project, so that the workshop can be used as effectively as possible. Timings are subject to minor changes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Guide<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guide is&nbsp;<strong>Hulda Ragnhei\u00f0ur \u00c1rnad\u00f3ttir<\/strong>, CEO of the Icelandic Natural Catastrophe Insurance. Hulda has mastered using artificial intelligence in her daily work and is passionate about sharing that knowledge. In her words: &quot;I went to university late and have come a long way by believing in my own abilities, and by seizing the tools available at the time.
