On Friday 29th April, we graduated 18 students from the Early Years Educator and Support Worker Bridging Programme. The cohort has now completed a two-year programme, but the course is structured as a work-study programme and is a so-called 'bridge' course, specifically designed for people with extensive professional experience and a long history of training courses. The course began in the autumn of 2020, and the students and organisers experienced the effects of the pandemic. On occasion, sessions were held online and lecturers, students and project managers all contracted Covid. They managed to complete it, and no classes ever had to be cancelled, with the cohort graduating on time.<\/p>\n
The group that has now graduated is very pleased with the course and believes it will result in an improved position for them, with increased knowledge and skills to tackle more varied projects.<\/p>\n
