This summer, the North East Iceland Knowledge Network is conducting an interview study among immigrants in North East Iceland, with a grant from the Immigration Development Fund. The study is about how immigrants experience life in the municipality, what has gone well, and what challenges they have faced.<\/p>\n
The aim is to gain insight into the experiences of people, which can be used to improve services for immigrants and contribute to a stronger and more cohesive society. The research is being conducted in close collaboration with Nor\u00f0ur\u00feing and SSNE. We are now looking for participants for interviews. The interview will take approximately 30\u201345 minutes and can be held at a location that is most convenient for the interviewee, such as at home, in a caf\u00e9, at the Knowledge Network office, or elsewhere. The interviews will be conducted in Icelandic, English or the interviewee's mother tongue, with the assistance of an interpreter if required.<\/p>\n
