We are looking for an individual with good communication skills, who is creative in their thinking and possesses initiative and autonomy in their work. This is a varied and enjoyable role within a dynamic team and in the vibrant environment of the Guild.<br><br>Key tasks include, among other things: \u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Management and development of continuing education and training projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Delivery of courses and events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Development of educational plans and needs analyses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Overseeing development and research projects, including in the fields of multiculturalism and community development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Collaboration with industry, local authorities and educational institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Project management, administration and reporting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Applications for collaboration and project funding through domestic and international funds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Teamwork in a variety of projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Skills and education:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Higher education that is useful in the job<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Organised and independent working methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Experience in project management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Experience of multicultural projects of any kind is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Drive and initiative in work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Service-mindedness and patience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Good communication and teamwork skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Knowledge of teaching and adult education is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Good command of Icelandic and English \u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The application deadline is 31 May.
