The facility will be a shared platform for Borgarh\u00f3lssk\u00f3li, H\u00fasav\u00edk Upper Secondary School, the sports club V\u00f6lsung, the Fab Lab workshop, and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project is creating one of the most powerful computer labs in the region, with an emphasis on quality equipment, shared use, and accessibility. The facility will be used for e-sports training, running courses, teaching in schools, and various projects that require powerful computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project would not have been possible without the strong support of the community. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the companies that contributed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Forward-looking<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>\u00deingi\u00f0n<\/strong>&nbsp;Support the project with stunning screens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Locals<\/strong>&nbsp;gave great computer mice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>The Whale Museum in H\u00fasav\u00edk<\/strong>&nbsp;He\/She suggested mouse mats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>GeoSea<\/strong>&nbsp;He\/She\/It supported the project with money.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>V\u00edkurraf<\/strong>&nbsp;supported the project with headphones and keyboards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Sparisj\u00f3\u00f0ur Su\u00f0ur \u00deingeyinga<\/strong>&nbsp;The project was supported with money that could be used to buy two computers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fab Lab H\u00fasav\u00edk, the H\u00fasav\u00edk Upper Secondary School and Borgarh\u00f3lssk\u00f3li also provided powerful computers, and seven new workstations are now in use. The aim is to increase this number to ten in the coming weeks and months. Companies or individuals who wish to support the project with a donation or equipment are very welcome to get in touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A partnership agreement between the schools and Fab Lab H\u00fasav\u00edk means that a single, shared and highly capable computer lab will be located in the workshop. This shared use will make much better use of the equipment, provide more people with access to it, and make it easier to maintain it to the highest standard for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a big step for tech education, e-sports and digital creation in H\u00fasav\u00edk, and we look forward to seeing the facility filled with students, participants and enthusiasts of all ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We sincerely thank everyone involved in the project for their support.
