The kick-off event for the latest European project in which the Knowledge Network is a participant was held in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, at the beginning of June. The project is called: "EUropean NETworking as a method for further training and exchange of ideas in the lifelong learning sector" or "European NET as a method for further training and exchange of ideas in the lifelong learning sector", and is abbreviated as EU-NET.
The Knowledge Network's partners in EU-NET come from Poland, Italy, Hungary and Portugal. The kick-off meeting went brilliantly in the glorious sunshine in Bielsko-Biala. Most of the time was spent on un
structuring, design and task allocation for the educational material, which will be the main output of the project. The aim is to design, develop and disseminate educational material on European cooperation projects for institutions and organisations operating in the lifelong learning sector. The final product is to be an interactive manual for self-directed learning and upskilling in this area.
The next meeting of the project will then be held in Hungary at the end of October, where the partners will review the first drafts of the educational material, fine-tune it and prepare it for piloting.
