Community greenhouse in Húsavík

A successful public meeting about a community greenhouse was held today at Fosshótel Húsavík. The meeting was hosted by Eimur, SSNE and Hraðið, and the project is about utilising the area's geothermal heat to build a community greenhouse in Húsavík. There was great interest among the participants and good discussions were held about the project, where the aim is to use the energy in a sustainable way for food production and innovation, while at the same time creating a fun community around horticulture.
