Digital Communities – educational material on using online services

Digitalisation is steadily increasing in our society. In many parts of Europe, the situation is that various mandatory public services are only available online. The increasing importance of digital services in daily life means that it is necessary for the public to acquire certain digital skills and literacy.  

The Knowledge Network has been working on the creation of educational materials for older people, together with its 5 partners from 5 European countries. The project involves developing digital technology skills training and creating tools in the same area for older people. The partnership project also aims to empower local mentors to support the digital skills of older people.
