A fantastic project on intangible cultural heritage and entrepreneurship, led by Þekkingarnetið, recently concluded. The NICHE project was carried out with a grant from Erasmus+, the EU's cooperation programme, and was recognised as a Good Practice Example. See more. here.
The project's objectives were to support the work of entrepreneurs related to intangible cultural heritage and to develop new educational material. The participants in the project numbered nine, from seven European countries: Iceland, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Sweden. Our partner in Iceland was Nýheimar Knowledge Centre in Höfn, Hornafjörður.
