The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Knowledge Centres was held at Stéttinni on 27-28 August. The association comprises seven knowledge centres in the regions, Austurbrú, Nýheimar Knowledge Centre, the Textile Centre of Iceland, the Knowledge Centre of the South-West, Háskólafélag Suðurlands, Þekkingarnet Þingeyinga and Þekkingarsetur Vestmannaeyja. ÞÞ has held the chairmanship of the association's board for the past year and was the host on this occasion.
The first day was a working meeting with the heads and staff of the centres, where the activities and facilities of the Guild were presented. In addition, traditional items such as contractual matters, collaborative projects, etc., were reviewed. The second day was the organisation's general meeting. After the programme, guests were invited on a walking tour of the town, which ended at the sea baths.
The meeting was well attended, and we would like to thank everyone warmly for coming and for the pleasant time spent together over the past few days.
