A project manager for Kistan has been appointed in Thórshöfn. Christina Merkel has been appointed to the post. Christina is based in Langanesbyggð and has a university education in business studies and information technology. She has extensive experience of a wide variety of projects in project management, including work for Controlant hf., 1xInternet, Sybit GmbH and Constellium Switzerand. Kistan is a business and innovation centre in Langanesbyggð which aims to create a community of organisations, businesses and entrepreneurs under one roof and to support community development through a variety of projects. Christina will start at the end of the summer, and we welcome her to the team.
