The board of the institution consists of five members, appointed for two-year terms. The board's composition is designed to include representatives from the institution's main areas of activity, namely continuing education, research, university services and innovation, as well as regional educational activities and the local community.
The board of the North East Iceland Knowledge Network is calling for nominations or candidates for board membership. Nominations must be sent to the email address hildur@hac.is for the annual general meeting, to be held on 27 April 2026.
