Two exciting jobs advertised at the institution

Truly exciting times lie ahead for The Knowledge Network, as the organisation has now advertised two important vacancies. These are diverse opportunities for ambitious individuals who wish to take part in the ongoing development of a strong and dynamic working environment in North East Iceland.

On the other hand, a call for Project manager in the field of lifelong learning, based in Húsavík. This is a varied and creative role where the post-holder will oversee the development and implementation of educational projects, courses and events. The Project Manager will also collaborate with businesses, local authorities and educational providers, as well as participating in development and research projects, including in the fields of multiculturalism and community development. We are looking for an individual with good communication skills, initiative and the ability to work independently, who enjoys working in a dynamic and proactive team.

However, a call for career and employment adviser to work in the Knowledge Network's professional team. The role involves working with individuals and groups, providing advice on study and careers, managing data, and participating in development projects in collaboration with the business community. This is a dynamic and family-friendly role with an emphasis on professional development, flexibility, and active participation in community development. The position is 70–80% full-time, with the possibility of an increase.

Both roles are an important part of strengthening the Knowledge Network's services for the region's residents and business community. The Knowledge Network plays a key role as a centre for lifelong learning, research, higher education and innovation, and is therefore an exciting platform for those who want to make an impact and take part in the development of the community.

The application deadline for both positions is 31st May, and all interested parties are encouraged to apply at alfred.is:
