The Knowledge Network, along with 6 partners, most of whom are from abroad, recently received a grant from the Erasmus+ programme for a project called NICHE 2, which stands for "Nurturing Intangible Cultural Heritage for Entrepreneurship". This is a grant from a competitive fund of 250,000 euros for the project as a whole, which is equivalent to approximately 37 million króna, to be shared among the six partners.
Development projects of this kind, funded by self-financing from European Funds, have been an important part of the institution's activities in recent years, and the collaboration has resulted in significant knowledge and useful outputs. Much of the work undertaken in these collaborative projects contributes, both directly and indirectly, to the institution's educational provision and research projects.
