It's always lively in Kistan during exam time, but at the same time, one has to tread lightly. This spring, 16 individuals sat 34 exams from 8 schools in Kistan. The majority of the exams were from the University of Akureyri, with 10 in total. In the picture, you can see Björgvin Val Grant concentrating intently on a navigation exam; he is studying to become a ship's master at the Vocational School of the East. He is studying full-time alongside working full-time at sea and is glad not to have to drive to Neskaupstaður to take his exams.
