The Network of Knowledge of Þingeyjar offers a wide range of services to businesses and organisations. The consultants in the business division are Ingibjörg Benediktsdóttir and Hilmar Valur Gunnarsson. The Business Division offers courses and consultancy for companies and organisations, with the needs of each individual as its guiding principle.

It is important to focus on the skills that meet the company's needs and objectives, and for employees to apply their skills in their work. We can assist you with training in your company, whether for the long or short term. We assist companies with individual courses and also with implementing an existing training plan. Courses are held at our premises or at the workplace.

The Network of Knowledge of the Thingeyingas, in collaboration with the trade unions' education funds, can offer a "Loaned Education Manager".  The project involves loaning a consultant to a company for a specified period. The consultant reviews the company's education and training matters in collaboration with management and staff. Based on this analysis, a training and continuing education plan is developed, which lays the foundation for targeted staff training. A full grant for the project can be applied for from the training funds.Targeted staff development is an approach where staff development in companies and organisations is systematically worked on. With Markviss, education, training and other activities related to staff development are assessed and planned.

Markviss's methods enable managers and employees to assess the skills and knowledge requirements within a company or organisation for themselves, and to plan each employee's development in accordance with the assessment's findings.
Markviss is well suited to both larger and smaller companies and institutions, both public and private.
