At all these locations, students are offered facilities for remote examinations, with the approval of the relevant schools in each case.  

The Knowledge Network encourages all residents of Þingeyjarhérað to make use of the service and to receive facilities, advice or educational services of any kind.  

All services and facilities of the Knowledge Network for distance learners in the Þingeyjardæmi are free of charge for students (i.e. included in the registration fee at the relevant school).

Head office at Stéttin in Húsavík, Hafnarstétt 3. A university study centre with 24-hour access, a good internet connection and conference facilities, classrooms, a reading area, and workstations for 8-10 people (in addition to staff from other institutions). Thorshavn:
