At all of these locations, students are offered facilities for remote testing, with the approval of the relevant schools in each case. 

The Knowledge Network encourages all residents of Þingeyar County to use the service and receive facilities, advice or educational services of some kind. 

All services and facilities of the Knowledge Network for distance learners in Þingeyjarsýslar are free of charge for students (i.e. included in the registration fee at the relevant school).
