In the workshop you will learn to utilize the technology that is changing industries today. We place special emphasis on 3D drawing, milling and metalworking, in addition to reviewing all the main tools and equipment at FabLab Húsavík.
This is a practical course for people who want to:
- design and build your own solutions
- learn to work with digital production
- develop ideas for work or your own projects
- acquire skills that are directly useful in industry and practical work
Classes will be held once a week, usually from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, but occasionally until 8:00 PM. The program begins on Tuesday, September 1st.
Teachers are experienced at Fablab Húsavík: Karen, Helga, Stefán Pétur, Árni and Jón from FabLab Akureyri, along with others.
The FabLab workshop is an 88-hour accredited learning program from the Icelandic Business Education Center.
